Rental Services for Private Landlords

Lighthouse also offers a "Find A Tenant Service" for landlords on the Pohutukawa Coast, who wish to manage their own properties.

Service includes:

• Letting Authority containing details of property and owner/s
• Advertisiing in local papers and on the internet
• On site visits with the prospective tenants - we do not hand out keys
• Application Forms provided for tenants to complete
• Tenant checks that include:
  • National Tenant Data Base*
  • Baycorp Advantage*
  • Contact with referees and/or current landlords*
• Completion of Residential Tenancy Agreements including: Collection of initial rent payment
• Bond Collection and lodgement
• Preparation of Automatic Payment Forms

* Cost to Landlord to complete above checks per Tenant is $15.00 incl GST

Private Landlord Inspection Services

Lighthouse can also provide a "one off" inspection service during a tenancy upon request from the Landlord in the case of the property being managed privately. This excludes the initial and final inspections and is only available for rental properties on the Pohutukawa Coast.
