Surrounded by sea and farmland, the idyllic localities of Beachlands and Maraetai are situated approximately 40 kilometres from down town Auckland, about 45 minutes drive time (off peak) or 30 minutes by Pine Harbour Marinas own ferry service.
Pohutukawa Coast History
Maraetai Beach Estate, now known as Maraetai Beach, was developed and was surveyed by Harrison Grierson Surveyors in 1923. This Estate covered the area of Rewa Road, Carlton Crescent and Maraetai Drive along the waterfront.
